'Blue' dollar falls 39 cents; official rate closes higher

The US currency today closed one cent and a half higher at 6.165 pesos for buyers at banks and exchange offices in Buenos Aires.

According to private estimates, dollar inflows from grain and oleaginous exports totaled 1,726.1 millions in October, 2.2 percent more than in September, but 6.35 percent lower than during the same period last year.

Meanwhile, the "blue" dollar was trading at 9.18 pesos, 39 cents lower than last week.
