Scioli ratifies presidential prospects for 2015
Ratifying his presidential ambitions for 2015, Buenos Aires province governor Daniel Scioli analyzed the general election scenario as he praised Kirchnerite leaders –and possible candidates- Sergio Urribarri and Jorge Capitanich.
“Such is the strength of the Victory Front, its political leaders, leaders with experience and who are not circumstantial,” Scioli said in an interview with a local newspaper as he assured Argentina is “prepared for a great development stage.”
“I have the will, as I have said it, of playing a leading role in such stage”, the governor affirmed to add he holds “serious and deep” talks with President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner despite some kirchnerite voices who –at least prior to the PASO primaries and this month’s midterms- questioned Scioli’s “loyalty” to the government.
“I seriuosly and deeply discuss the things I have to talk with Cristina (Kirchner) respecting her institutional role and trusting in her the conditions she creates for the present and the future,” the ex vice-president during Néstor Kirchner administration insisted and assured Fernández de Kirchner “never stopped trusting” in him.
