UNEN becomes first minority force at City Legislature
According to official results, candidates of the PRO party for the City Legislature were winning with almost 33 percent of the votes, 9 points ahead of the UNEN front, who got 32.23 percent of the votes and became the first minority.
With 98.92 percent of the polling stations counted, Mauricio Macri’s ruling PRO party was winning with 34.46 percent of the votes and would keep 12 seats out of 30 to be renewed. Kirchenerite candidates were relegated to a third place with 21.59 percent of the votes.
Meanwhile, the UNEN front would manage to get 8 seats, two more than the Victory Front, which attained a little more than 120 thousand votes.
