'Tell Larreta we will keep Congress majority'
Ruling Victory Front is satisfied with the outcome of the campaign compared to the August PASO elections, Kirchnerite candidate Juliana Di Tullio said and sent a message to Buenos Aires City cabinet chief Horacio Rodríguez Larreta who had forecasted Kirchnerism decline in Congress earlier today. “Tell Larreta we will continue to have parliamentary majority,” Di Tullio affirmed.
As voting came to an end today at 6pm, political leaders started to make their first statements, expressing their expectations ahead of the elections’ definitive results tonight.
Head of the Lower House Kirchnerite caucus Juliana Di Tullio said the Victory Front is satisfied about the party’s performance after the PASO midterm elections when the Cristina Fernández de Kirchner administration lost against Sergio Massa’s Renewal Front in the province of Buenos Aires although it managed to remain the leading political force nationwide.
“We always make note. We are satisfied because we have made a good performance in the campaign since the PASO primaries," Di Tullio said and responded to Buenos Aires City Cabinet Chief Horacio Rodríguez Larreta who had doubted about Victory Front’s chances to keep control of both houses of Congress. “Tell Larreta that we will continue to have parliamentary majority,” Juliana Di Tullio affirmed.
