Máximo Kirchner says CFK 'is doing very well'
The son of president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, Máximo Kirchner, told reporters this morning, when he showed up at a Santa Cruz province school to cast his vote, that his mother “is doing very well” after a brain surgery she underwent to remove a subdural hematoma.
After the surgery and three years after his father, former president Néstor Kirchner passed away, “people’s messages make us feel good,” he said.
Asked about he would start participating actively in politics, Máximo refused to make “futurology” and said he will stay in Santa Cruz after voting instead of flying to Buenos Aires.
Sunday’s vote is marked by the absence of the president, who has been ordered to rest by her doctors and is expected to continue convalescing for another few weeks.
