Victoria Chiappero shines
Victoria Chiappero had a brilliant performance on Grama Solitario to win the 1.50m Francisco Mónaco-Argentine Equestrian Federation Grand Prix at Rincón de Zangerseheide. The 30 year old from Córdoba with the talented Silla Argentino bay, bred by Haras La Florida, never put a foot wrong during the three day show, winning all the classes they competed in. Four riders had to jump-off to determine second place which Martín Dopazo on Conrad Z, earned with a speedy round, almost two seconds faster than Alejandro Madorno with La Tatabra’s Milano de Flore, who finished third. Madorno and the elegant grey stallion won the circuit in this high performance category with just four faults. The show was quite successful with three rings going simultaneously due to the large number of competitors.
DRESSAGE. El Provenir Conrad, ridden by Florencia Manfredi, won the Breeder’s Prize for Dressage Horses, first category, organized by the Argentine Association to Promote Sport Horses at the Club Alemán de Equitación. The horse, bred by Gonzalo Estelles, scored 64,34 percent. In second category, Bandurria Minada, bred by Adrián Aguirre, and also ridden by Manfredi, took the championship with 65,40 percent.
