PRO closes City electoral campaign with promise of 'alternative'
Buenos Aires City mayor Mauricio Macri closed the electoral PRO campaign this afternoon in the Palermo neighbourhood with a traditional releasing of balloons, as his party colleagues called on voters to support them in Sunday's legislative poll.
Gabriela Michetti, the head of the PRO Senate ticket, asked the neighbours for their vote “to transform more things in the City and also to build a national alternative”.
Meanwhile, Sergio Bergman, the leading congressional candidate for the PRO in the capital, said: “In the City with the population of three million people we are a team. We ask you to vote an entire list, as each segment is a part of the transformation”.Candidates Diego Santilli, Laura Alonso, Iván Petrella and members of the City Cabinet also took part in the rally.
