Urribarri: Del Sel, a 'failed bicycle-tamer' and 'no Peronist'
Governor of the Entre Ríos province Sergio Urribarri considered PRO congressional candidate Miguel del Sel a “failed bicycle-tamer.” The Kirchnerite leader did not name him directly but a recent video shows the also comedy actor falling from a bike during a campaign rally.
“I have no doubts that those calling themselves Peronists must be unmasked,” Urribarri said. “He (Del Sel) should be told that Santa Fe women get pregnant because they love, because they want to have children and not because they want to get the Universal Child Allowance. He is no Peronist and such is the most anti-peronist sentence that I’ve heard in these democratic years,” the governor warned.
Miguel Del Sel, who is running for Congress in the October 27 elections under the PRO party ballot representing the province of Santa Fe, had questioned the Universal Child Allowance –a state cash transfer made to low income families on condition children receive regular medical checkups and attend school class-, considering women “get pregnant” so that they are paid with the social benefit.
A day after Kirchnerites marked the Peronist Loyalty Day with a massive rally at the Plaza de Mayo square in Buenos Aires city, Urribarri affirmed that the ruling Victory Front has been carrying out policies that aim at “inclusion, equality, wealth redistribution, access to social and cultural goods and economic autonomy” like no other government has done "since Juan Domingo Perón and Evita," the leading political figures of the Peronist movement.
