Moyano says gov't's Peronist position an 'electoral manuever'
As pro-government organizations ready to mark the Peronist “Loyalty Day” at the Plaza de Mayo square in a big show of support to President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, CGT head Hugo Moyano accused Kirchnerites of using Peronism as an “electoral maneuver.”
“The government has very little to do with Peronism, that is why the majority of votes it lost (in the PASO elections) was the workers'," the Secretary General of the anti-government splinter of the CGT labour confederation said.
“Everybody realizes that these are electoral maneuvers and expressions and that it is already late because they will continue to deepen policies against workers and salaries that inflation eats into,” Moyano stated.
