Cabandié, Insaurralde reported for 'abuse of authority'
The controversy that broke out when an anonymous video was released on the web showing Kirchnerite candidate Juan Cabandié arguing with a traffic officer has ended with an “abuse of authority” and “breaching of public servant duties” formal complaint involving also Lomas de Zamora Mayor Martín Insaurralde.
In the video, Cabandié appears talking over the phone and asking for a “punishment” for Belén Mosquera, the young traffic officer that was requesting to seize his vehicle as the Buenos Aires City legislator was not carrying the car’s insurance document with him. Cabandié names someone by the name of “Martín” bringing the also Victory Front candidate in October 27 legislative run Martín Insaurralde into the spotlight.
Private-sector lawyer Santiago Dupuy de Lome has revealed in his official Twitter account he lodged the formal complaint against Cabandié and Insaurralde. In his Twitter profile, he introduces himself as a “Peronist” and member of the PRO party, led by BA City Mayor and opposition figure Mauricio Macri.
