‘If he is freed, I will kill him myself,' mother of murdered Aracaeli said
Obviously shocked by the news about the confirmation that her daughter has been found dead, mother of Araceli Ramos Griselda addressed reporters at the entrance of her house. “The only thing I ask is laws to be changed,” she said and called for Araceli’s murderer “to be put in prison for good.”
“Seeing my daughter has destroyed me more,” Griselda stated but explained it was her personal decision to go to the morgue to find Araceli, a 19-year old who remained missing for 11 days and whose body was found by the police today, her hands and feet tied with a wire. It was put inside a plastic bag, in a fetal position, the bag thrown in a waste ground in General Paz and Crovara.
A former prefect Walter Vinader was arrested earlier this week following his alleged responsibility in the atrocious crime.
Araceli’s mother directly accused Vinader of being the only responsible of her daughter’s death. “All the evidence is on the table; there are the calls, the finger prints, there is a video tape where my daughter is seing with him,” Griselda said in reference to footages the accused had allegedly forced Araceli to record and appear on.
“Mi daughter appears crying in that tape. Seeing my daughter in the morgue is something I wish to no mother; my daughter had her foot and her hand tied with a wire, she was in a fetal form. That persona (Walter Vinader) will not leave (prison). I don’t want him to be given 10 or 25 years; if he gets 10 years he will get out. If he leaves, I myself will make sure of killing him. That is why I beg you change the laws," the mother of Araceli Ramos yelled.
