Senate passes 2014 Budget, Kirchnerism secures political victory
With a majority of 40 senators in favor and 27 against, the Upper House passed the 2014 budget and the extension of the emergency laws as well.
The bill projects a rate of 6.33 pesos to the US dollar, a commercial trade balance surplus of US$10 billion and economic growth of 6.2 percent.
During last week comission debate, the Deputy Minister of Economy Axel Kiciloff affirmed that:“Our budget for next year is going to be more expansive. That will allow us to take a deeper look at what has been done in order to sustain the intern demand.”
The president needs now to firm the new budget in order to become law.
