Macri: ‘CFK now picks up phone when I call her’
Buenos Aires City Mayor Mauricio Macri asserted that President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner “now picks up the phone” when he calls her, stating the next political stage will be one of “dialogue”.
"Lately when I have been calling, she answers. We have spoken about a couple of important issues," the City chief stated, implying that the head of state's attitude has changed since the primary elections of August 11.
Macri continued to explain that the last decade under Kirchnerite governments ("what some call the 'won decade and others the lost one'") has taught the importance of "having to work together, with communication and consensus."
