CFK arrives in New York to attend UN General Assembly
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner today arrived in New York to attend the 68° United Nations General Assembly to be held in the city.
From the Syrian conflict and its alleged chemical arms, to the debut of Iran’s newly appointed president Hasan Rohani, the debates scheduled for the meeting will catch the eye of the entire world.
More than 130 heads of state anda round 60 foreign ministres will participate in the Assembly, according to estimation of the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
Argentina will be present as one of the ten non-permanent members. The president is scheduled to address the Assembly tomorrow.
