CFK justifies government control of Mitre, Sarmiento train lines
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner headed today a rally at the Buenos Aires province locality of Chivilcoy, escorted by Buenos Aires Governor Daniel Scioli and Kirchnerite candidate running for Congress Martín Insaurralde.
Forty days ahead of October elections, Fernández de Kirchner inaugurated works at the Sancor dairy products company located in Chivilcoy joined by Buenos Aires province governor Daniel Scioli and mayor of the provincial district of Lomas de Zamora Martín Insaurralde who lost to Renewal Front leader Sergio Massa in August’s PASO primaries. Interior and Transport Minister Florencio Randazzo and Agriculture Minister Norberto Yauhar also attended the official act.
According to Sancor authorities, the technology investments account for 80 million pesos and involve the incorporation of highly sophisticated machinery to refuel the company’s milk production.
Defending the government’s “pro-industrialization” agenda, the President assured Sancor’s productive development shows what Argentina is “today”, as she also considered the investments made in the country’s rail system “unprecedented.”
