CFK: Dialogue must be ‘sincere, open, fearless’
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner led the ‘Industry Day’ celebrations at a dinner with industrial and political leaders in Tecnopolis exhibition center, in the Buenos Aires province. She repeated calls for an open exchange of ideas.
Before a huge screen with a slongan which read “The future is industry”, Fernández de Kirchner reviewed her government’s achievements and the “economic model with growth goals."
In addition, the head of state highlighted “the process of reindustrialisation against all odds since the 2008 crisis” and directley addressing the audience said: “things were not bad at all for you”, referring to the economic growth that the industrial sector accomplished under her administration.
Fernández de Kirchner concluded wishing a successful future “for industry, for workers and for Argentina.”
The event included Kirchnerite officials such as Vice President Amado Boudou, Industry Minister Débora Giorgi, Buenos Aires Governor Daniel Scioli and primary lawmaker candidate for the province, Martín Insaurralde.
