US Supreme Court to decide on Argentina's case review
If the Court accepts the case, the deadline set in Judge Thomas Griesa’s previous ruling will be extended. In the event of a refusal from the body, Argentina will be obliged to pay what is owed to bondholders who refused debt swaps following the default of 2001.
The private conference on September 30 was designed to give the nine Supreme Court justices an introduction to the agenda for the new term, which formally begins on October 7. The judges will review a list of cases put forward for consideration, along with other orders.
