'Vulture Funds’: Government files appeal before US Court
Just a few moments before deadline, the government filed two appeals before the United States Appeals Court over the dispute with the so called ‘Vulture Funds’.
The ministry of Economy along with its representatives wrote a petition demanding the revision of the ruling issued by US Federal Judge Thomas Griesa in August 23rd.
According to the document “the Court’s ruling not only forbids Argentina to pay its debts as a sovereign country in his own territory, but it also disqualifies the Bank of New York and other participants of the financial system”.
“No tribunal has ever released that kind of decision”, concluded the appeal.
In addition, the Government insists that this interpretation by the Judges, will finally affect all the countries in processes of debts crisis.
