Kunkel fires back at Duhalde's comments on President CFK
Kirchnerite Carlos Kunkel questioned comments by ex president Eduardo Duhalde who said Cristina Fernández de Kirchner has a “psychological problem,” warning also her administration is doomed to failure and a “bad end” “if changes are not made.”
Deputy Kunkel accused the also Peronist figurehead of having “no political strategy” to address Argentina’s problems, thus attacking President Kirchner.
“(Duhalde) cannot talk about anything else because he could not even say which measures he would take if he ruled the country. That is why he goes for these issues,” the Kirchnerite MP considered and added that Duhalde “must have referred to his wife,” ex Senator Hilda “Chiche” Duhalde.
Ms. Duhalde actually was first to criticize Fernández de Kirchner following the government’s defeat in August PASO primaries, suggesting society should "debate whether women are prepared for politics” and considering the South American leader "was not making women look good."
