Video shows how young soprano gets ill on stage, before dying in hospital
Young Argentine soprano Florencia Fabris died of a brain aneurysm she suffered from while performing the Giuseppe Verdi Réquiem in the city of San Juan this weekend. Fabris was 38 years old. The burial services have been announced for this afternoon. The video showing the moment she leaves stage after getting ill has been released today.
The lyrical singer ended her performance sitting on a chair. She was transferred to a local hospital where she was diagnosed with the brain aneurysm. Fabris had to go on surgery but on Sunday she suffered a new hemorrhage that caused her death.
Florencia Fabris was one of the most renowned young figures among Argentina’s lyrical performers starting at the Children Chorus of the Colón Theater under the direction of Valdo Sciammarella. She degreed in lyrical singing at the Conservatory of S. Cecilia of Rome.
