YPF CEO defends accord with Chevron to fight 'energy deficit'
The YPF CEO Miguel Galuccio admitted Argentina "has the serious energy deficit" and defended the deal with Chevron to exploit the Vaca Muerta shale gas reserves as the way to change the situation.
Galuccio reminded the country had to import fuel for USD 9,3 millions in 2012.
According to the YPF CEO, the deal with Chevron represents "an important milestone to transform resources into production" and seeks to "replace energy imports".
