After steady open, US dollar climbs to 5.67
US dolllar that trades in banks and exchange offices climbed once cent and a half reaching 5.61 (buying price) and 5.67 (selling price). The foreign currency many Argentineans have historically sought for as a saving shelter had opened steady earlier today at 5.655 pesos. Greenbacks’ purchases in the so called exchange “caves” dropped to 9.38 pesos following yesterday's official raids that closed down informal market exchange offices.
Greenbacks’ purchases in the so called exchange “caves” registered strong climbs on Wednesday. However, controls by Domestic Trade Secretary Guillermo Moreno in the informal market pushed figures down to 9.38 pesos.
