US dollar climbs one cent to 5.64 pesos
The US dollar was trading today one cent higher at banks and exchange offices at 5.58 pesos (buying price) and 5.64 (selling price). Buenos Aires stocks edge up 0.5 %.
Meanwhile, the government continues to watch over the black market where the so called "blue" dollar trades in a mover to keep rates under control. Yesterday, greenbacks’ trends reached 8.70 pesos (selling price).
Buenos Aires stock market closed slightly down in today’s trade with the Merval benchmark stock index dropping 0.14 percent to 3,897.40 points.
