Macri confident PRO will get more votes in October
Buenos Aires City Mayor and PRO leader Mauricio Macri today said his candidates “did well” in provinces such as Santa Fe, Entre Ríos and Córdoba in the last primary elections and expressed confidence in the outcome of the upcoming midterms to be held in October.
He assured the PRO force will “get more votes” on October 27 mainly in the City where residents have historically voted against Peronist candidates.
“We think we’ll do better and we will get two million votes,” Macri predicted.
Furthermore, he referred to an alleged political alliance with Tigre Mayor Sergio Massa in the province of Buenos Aires saying Massa “cannot refuse to admit it”.
He added law suits against him “are a fabrication” and heavily criticized both judge Norberto Oyarbide and the Cassation Court.
