CFK warns imports will be opened 'if prices don't drop'

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner headed a rally at the Government House, where she presented the credit certificates of the housing plan ProCreAr.

During the rally, the Head of State assured "if we have to open the entrance of specific products because of the monopolic position of those who sell them, then we will debate about it."

Regarding the measure, she anticipated that "we are going to apply a system so that they don't take advantage of the differences."

The president called "all the Argentines to take care of what we've achieved."

"The current global crisis times demand us, businessmen, union leaders and workers to make a great effort, an intelligence exercise to preserve this Argentina we've achieved," Fernández de Kirchner continued.

The Head of State was accompanied by a group of governors, mayors and several ministers. It was her first public rally since she arrived from the Vatican, where she met Pope Francis.
