Trade surplus falls 61.1% in February

The trade surplus totalled at $521 million dollars in February, dropping 61.1 percent compared to the volume registered during the same month in 2012, according to the Indec national statistics bureau.

The official agency stated that the exports reached $5.7 billion dollars, dropping 6 percent year-on-year, while the imports increased 10 percent, hitting $5.2 billion dollars.
