CFK meets economy team after 'Blue' dollar skyrocketed 48 cents
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner met with Economy Minister Hernán Lorenzino and Central Bank Governor Mercedes Marcó del Pont at Olivos presidential residence to analyse the economic situation of the country after her arrival from Rome. Sources said they spoke about the rocketing "blue" dollar, but it was not the main part of the encounter.
After spending five days abroad, the Head of State summoned the head of the Economy Ministry, who arrived with Deputy Minister Axel Kiciloff, and the head of the CB to analyse the country's numbers.
In the midst of the day in which the so-called "blue" dollar climbed 48 cents reaching a new record, the economic team debated the situation, but there are no measures expected to be applied tonight.
