CFK arrives in Rome for papacy inauguration
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner arrived to the Vatican where she will meet with elected Pope Francis and attend the inauguration mass of his papacy next Tuesday.
The presidential spokesman said the head of state was scheduled to fly on Sunday, but the trip went ahead because the schedule of a meeting on Monday at 12.50 pm Rome time (8:50 am Argentina) in the Vatican between the President and the new pontiff.
With the meeting scheduled for Monday, the President will be the first head of state to be received by former cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio since he was elected to his new commanding role of the Roman Catholic Church.
