Moyano: 'Everybody lives with fear'

Head of the CGT Labour Confederation Hugo Moyano

Head of the CGT Labour Confederation Hugo Moyano has ratified his anti-government position and stated that “everybody lives with fear” in Argentina and that “society is on the brink of panic."

“Society is on the brink of panic. In the province of Buenos Aires, children can not attend school because of crime”, the powerful union leader said in statements to La Red radio station and accused president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner of “boundless arrogance” as he considered the Argentine head of state “thinks that what she says is the gospel truth."

“Society has become tired due to this way of running a country. The other day the President spoke for almost four hours but she says nothing about what people wants to know,” Moyano said considering Victory Front officials who attend the presidential rallies only “jokers” and “clappers.”

This Thursday Moyano’s CGT and the anti-government CTA splinter led by Pablo Micheli will stage a protest at the Labour Ministry in order to renew their demands.
