Newell's beat Chile's Universidad

Charles Aranguiz (R) of Chilean Universidad de Chile vies for the ball with Pablo Javier Perez of Argentina''s Newells Olds Boys.

Newell's Old Boys defeated Chile's Universidad in Santiago by 2-0, and lead its group at the Libertadores Cup.

Newell's Maximiliano Rodríguez opened the score at 19' of the first half of the game, as his team-mate Martín Tonso netted the second goal at 38' of the second half.
