CFK resumes activities after Venezuela visit
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner resumed her official activities after returning from a two-day trip to Venezuela, where she attended later president Hugo Chávez’s funeral services in Caracas.
The president landed in the Aeroparque metropolitan airport on Thursday night.
The head of state was meeting with the Cabinet in the Olivos presidential residence on Friday morning, although no further details were provided.
Fernández de Kirchner landed in Aeroparque with Planning Minister Julio de Vido, the head of the Lower House, Julián Domínguez, senators Miguel Angel Pichetto and Aníbal Fernández, and lawmaker Agustín Rossi among others.
