Church criticizes court reform
The Catholic Church harshly criticized the project to reform the justice system put forth by President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner during her State-of-the-Nation speech last week, warning the politicization of judges was “inadmissible” because it “conspires against the neutrality” required for the job.
The National Committee of Peace and Justice of the Argentine Synod said it is important to “respect what the Constitution commands on the matter.”
