Liaison Board calls Yahuar to postpone meetings
The Liaison Board called Agriculture Minister Norberto Yahuar to postpone the meetings scheduled to take part separately on Thursday until the "consulting period" with the basis come to an end.
The members of the agrarian entities indicated in a communiqué the meetings with Yahuar "came in a delayed manner" and detailed that currently exists "a debating process in producers' assemblies in every region."
The statement added that "it's necessary to put off any kind of meeting until this consulting period ends."
The members of the board also assured that "as a result of these assemblies new union actions will be set. So, it is necessary to postpone any king of meeting until this ends."
The communiqué was released after a 4-hour encounter between the authorities of the Liaison Board held at Expoagro 2013 exhibition, which will be formally inaugurated tomorrow.
Tomorrow at noon, the heads of the Board - Argentine Agrarian Federation (FAA) Eduardo Buzzi, Argentine Rural Confederations (CRA) Rubén Ferrero, from Coninagro Carlos Garetto and the Rural Society, Luis Miguel Etchevehere - will hold a press conference at the exhibition.
