Scioli blasts Macri in inauguration of legislative year
Buenos Aires province Governor Daniel Scioli inaugurated the legislative year at the provincial Congress, where he criticized City Mayor Mauricio Macri by assuring that "by burrying garbage in the Province, anyone can have a 'Green City'."
"Today I felt that, far from acknowledging the province's solidarity, the city has made reference of having a 'Green City' by burrying their garbage in Buenos Aires province," he continued referring to the speech the City Mayor gave earlier today.
Scioli also affirmed that he will work for "the complete application of the law" that toughens the prison release, which has been suspended by the provincial Supreme Court.
"We believe that we can have a law that our society demands for those who commit crimes so they are not released, because they endanger our society," he continued.
