Tigre fan dies after Sunday's violent clashes

One of the fans injured during last Sunday´s clashes between factions of Tigre football hooligans, died today after being treated for a gunshot to the femoral artery.

40-year old Adrian Alejandro Velazquez, who remained hospitalized since the violent incidents took place, suffered a hemorrhagic stroke.

Although no one has yet been arrested, authorities have already decided to move this weekend’s game between Tigre and All Boys to 5:10 pm, two hours earlier than previously announced.

Attorney Alejandro Musso has changed the accusation to “homicide, injuries and gun abuse”.

The Tigre hooligans´ conflict started a few weeks ago following a dispute over tickets and trips to attend matches in the Libertadores Tournament.
