Sileoni believes dialogue with unions will be resumed

Education Minister Alberto Sileoni reminded that the teachers' salary "is set by every province" and that the national wage talk "is only to orientate," and he also considered necessary to "ratify the dialogue and re-discuss the issue."

The official celebrated that "many provinces achieved an agreement and will begin classes, even exceeding the floor."

Sileoni assured that "when we pass this first reaction - referring to the national strike to be held on Monday - we are going to resume the dialogue, because wage talks include several issues to be discussed."

The educational five-year plan 2012-2016, the creation of day-cares, extended classes and teachers' formation are some of the issues the minister considered crucial to keep on debating with the unions.
