Government rejects PRO football broadcast bill

The national government dismissed the bill presented by PRO deputy Federico Pinedo regarding the regulation of advertising shown during the free national broadcasts of local football. 

In a radio interview, President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner’s general-undersecretary, Gustavo López, stated that the bill looked as if it had been “thrown together in a hurry” and described the programme as “a remedy to (Buenos Aires City Mayor Mauricio) Macri’s ‘sincericide’.”
