Heckling incident was 'distressing,' Kicillof's wife

Soledad Quereilhac, wife of deputy Economy Minister Axel Kicillof, said that the heckling incident they suffered aboard a boat returning from Uruguay was very distressing and tainted by some fascist unconscious.

“They yelled at us to get down from the boat. That leaves two interpretations: the crazy fact that people did not realize that we were aboard a ship and we could not get off. There’s a certain fascist unconscious in asking a family to jump to the river,” she said in an inteview with Perfil newspaper.

She blamed “a particular public, with a particular ideology and economic preferrences” for the insults and heckling incident which took place last Sunday aboard a ship traveling from Uruguay to Argentina and which forced her, along with her husband and their two young children, to remain in the captain’s cabin.
