Traffic heavy as thousands flee the City for long weekend
Thousands of cars were leaving the City to enjoy the four day weekend. Route 2, which runs through seaside resorts had over 2100 cars per hour.
Pan-American highway, the 25 de Mayo highway and the Dock Sud exit of the Buenos Aires La Plata highway were full of vehicles early this morning on account of the four day long Carnival weekend.
Thousands of cars were leaving the City to enjoy the four day Holiday. Route 2, which runs through seaside resorts had over 2100 cars per hour.
The National Road Security Agency (ANSV) reported that 500 hundred extra services were added at the Retiro bus station for Friday and Saturday.
