Argentina lose again

BAHAMAS — Argentina lost against Panama in the third round of the ICC Americas Division 2 T-20 Championship played in Bahamas.

Panama scored 150 for 7 with opener Soyab Chohan (42), Bharatkumar Ahír (20), Rajesh Ahir (42) and Mahmud Bhana (19 not out) the best scorers. Argentina took three catches and Pedro Arrighi (3 for 22 in 3) and Lucas Paterlini (2 for 40 in 4) were best bowlers.

Argentina managed just 121 all out in 20 overs where opener Lucas Paterlini (19) and Martín Siri (58 from 50 balls with five fours and a six) were the best batsmen.

In the other match played Turks & Caicos Islands 142 for 8 lost to Belize 145 for 7 in 19.1 overs.

After three rounds, Panama and Bahamas lead with four points, Turks & Caicos and Belize have two, and Argentina none.
