Boudou says 'there's no way' he would leave office

Vice-President Amado Boudou.
Vice-President Amado Boudou assured he is not thinking of resigning from office, said he has nothing to hide about his assets and insisted that there is no relation between him and businessman Alejandro Vanderbroele, who acquired the mint printing company formerly known as Ciccone.

“For months many were talking about this alleged photograph of me and this Vanderbroele. But I never saw it, because it doesn’t exits. There are sectors like Clarín, La Nación, the Rural Society and Techint who find these politics convenient,” he said.

Despite having stated otherwise during a radio interview in which he said he felt he had “already been found guilty despite not being charged with anything”, Boudou has been charged with influence peddling over his alleged meddling to lift the bankruptcy that was affecting the former Ciccone.

“There’s no way I could resign from office. I never thought of this as some political career,” he added.
