EU sets new restrictions over Argentine biodiesel imports
The European Committee has set new limits in biodiesel imports coming from Argentina and Indonesia, and determined that this product must be registered at Customs office before entering the EU territory.
The decision was set due to the anti-dumping investigation supported by the European authorities, according to the Argentine Commission of Biofuel (CARBIO).
The registration will allow the European Committee to charge an export duty to the Argentine or Indonesian biodiesel buyers, measure that would hinder the Argentine product's exports.
