'We never have to be like those who don't understand,' CFK warns
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner assured today that “we don’t have to be like those who don’t understand and don’t comprehend” as she launched a education five year plan in a ceremony held at the Gran Rex theatre in downtown City.
Regarding the five year plan, which is included mandatory secondary education and training of teachers, the Head of State stressed the fact that her administration “is recovering something that was lost: the value of public education.”
The Mandatory Education and Teacher Training five tear plan “was supported by 24 juridisdictions, and that means we are on the right path. We have ambitious goals for educations. We recovered technical schools, when until recently the country did not need workers,” due to the lack of education policies in the nineties.
“We are still paying that lack of technical schools, but then we implemented a plan to have more engineers and the bicentennary scholarships.”
