As Sabella has 'world's best player', Swedish feel the 'terror'

Argentina coach Alejandro Sabella has praised Lionel Messi as "more than a player" as his side prepares to take on Sweden on a Wednesday FIFA friendly in Stockholm.

The 25-year-old recently won his fourth straight Ballon d'Or, and broke Gerd Muller's 40-year strong record of 85 goals in a single calendar year.

"He's the best player in the world. He's more than a player, he's an incredible athlete, who always looks for new challenges", Sabella told Swedish media.

Looking ahead to Wednesday's clash, Sabella went on to say that he is expecting a tough clash against the Swedes.

"Sweden will be very well organized," the coach and former Sheffield United and Leed United playmaker commented.

Meanwhile, Sweden’s head coach Erik Hamren claimed that his players were approaching the clash with a mixture of fear and excitement.

"The game will be a mixture of pleasure and terror. If we have a bad day we could concede a lot of goals. It will be a challenge."
