Prince Charles and Camilla take Tube to mark its 150 years
The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall have made their first joint trip on the London Underground to celebrate its 150th anniversary.
As part of the visit, they went to King's Cross Station where they shared a joke by the platform made famous by Harry Potter.
The last time Prince Charles used the Tube was in 1986 when he opened Heathrow's Terminal 4, while Camilla is said to have used the Underground in the past. The couple were given specially designed Oyster cards which were loaded with £10 in credit and are expected to be added to the Royal Collection.
The royal couple travelled on the Tube from Farringdon to King's Cross on the Metropolitan line. Prince Charles asked Tube bosses if they were going "just one stop" when he and the Duchess arrived at King's Cross after their three minute journey.
