Rossi: 'There is no other leadership comparable to Cristina's'

Head of the Victory Front bloc in the national congress Agustín Rossi, said today that there was no other leadership that could compare with that of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner’s and that her government should maintain as many seats as possible in the Upper and Lower house for that to remain intact.

The pro-government lawmaker was interviewed today by La Red radio, where he highlighted the importance of the congressional elections this year, making reference to 2009-2011.

“That was a time where the opposition maintained a majority number of seats, which was disastrous and damaging to the process of lawmaking in the Parliament,” Rossi stated.

“Right now we are in the presence of an intensely high level of leadership. There is nothing that compare to Cristina’s governance.”

“It’ll be the kind of leadership present when decisions are to be made in 2015.

Rossi added: “it’s clear to see that Peronism and Kirchnerism is moving where this leadership is taking it.”

The congressional elections for leaders of the Lower House of Congress for the period of 2013-2017 and the Senate for 2013-2019 take place in October this year.

The primaries begin in August where the candidates for the key roles will be chosen.
