CFK arrives in Vietnam, to meet with Le Hoang Quan tomorrow
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner arrived this morning in Vietnam, the last destination on her tour of the Middle East and Southern Asia, and is set to meet with its president Le Hoang Quan tomorrow.
The Head of State arrived to Ho Chi Minh city at 7am (Argentine time) after having visited Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates earlier this week.
Fernández de Kirchner, accompanied by more than 200 businessmen and a group of ministers, including Foreign Minister Héctor Timerman, will visit the Cu Chi tunnels tomorrow – a site which is a symbol of the Vietnamese resistance during the US invasion in the 1960s.
Later in the day, she will be received by Le Hoang Quan at the Vietnamese governmental palace.
On Sunday she will travel to Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital, in order to return to Buenos Aires.
