UTA lifts nat'l strike of long-distance buses
After the intervention of the Labour Ministry and Interior and Transport Ministry, the bus drivers' union UTA decided to lift the long-distance buses' strike that had been announced earlier today.
Official sources stated that Interior and Transport Minister Florencio Randazzo reported that a resolution had been sign so that the sector businessmen fulfilled the agreed payment of 380 pesos, and the service was immediately resumed.
Meanwhile, the Labour Ministry informed that UTA and the long-distance buses' companies will hold wage talks on Friday morning at the headquarters located in Alem 600 in order to find a definite solution.
