'The arrival of Libertad is a sign of political, economic sovereignty'

Buenos Aires province Governor Daniel Scioli assured today that "he’s very satisfied" due to the arrival of the Frigate Libertad in Mar Del Plata ,which “shows the changes Argentina undergoes regarding the fight for its political and economic sovereignty.”

“It is an immense satisfaction to accompany President Cristina Fernández de Kircher to receive our beloved Libertad Frigate, a national emblem that all Argentines and tourists will be able to enjoy today,” Scioli said, as the navy vessel moored following a 21 day journey from Ghana, where it was impounded for 77 days by claims of hedge funds NML Capital.

The Buenos Aires province Governor added that "the fact that Fernández de Kirchner decided that Mar del Plata will receive the Frigate is an honour for the City and for the province as well.”

“The arrival of this national emblem shows that Argentina is undergoing changes in the fight of our political and economic sovereignty," he concluded.
