'The battle against vulture funds has been won'

Defence Minister Arturo Puricelli assured that the arrival of the Libertad Frigate to Argentina, after being impounded in Ghana for 77 days, means "the victory of the battle against the worst of the financial speculations, which are the vulture funds."

The minister spoke to the press as he arrived in the Navy base in Mar del Plata City, where the vessel was received.

Puricelli added that the vulture funds "are the worst of the international financial speculation, that in this case retained the vessel, rejecting the popular and political will of President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner."
